The Sacred Grove
In many traditions, legends speak of women gathering in sacred groves, or on
remote isles, where they share their wisdom.
For me, Hawk Circle's Sacred Grove is Avalon - the mystical isle of women.
The name Avalon evokes an inner peace, a place of healing and ancient wisdom.
For some, this is the place where the faerie women and Merlin of the Arthurian Legends lived -a mystical land that stood between our world and the Other.
For others, Avalon is the holy isle within us -a place where we arrive as a whole and empowered person, having discovered our own authentic nature and sovereignty.
