The Forest Witch

Following the Wheel of Year through the Nature Year
Welcome!
I've spent most of my life communing with nature and working with the seasons as a way to enhance my personal journey and accelerate my personal growth.

It wasn't until years later, that I realized my way of experiencing the nature year was rooted in the Celtic traditions and my ancestors that came from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

In the Forest Witch, Wheel of the Year program, I share my experience by offering you seasonal rituals, herbal remedies, folklore and myth, and seasonal recipes.

When experiencing the seasons in this way, you will discover the magic and the healing
potency found in nature and awaken
the inner witch within you.

Samhain
All life begins in darkness, and Samhain in the Celtic traditions, marks the end of one year and the beginning of the next. And so
too, we will begin our
Forest Witch's Wheel
of the Year.

Winter Solstice

As the Winter Solstice approaches, we enter into a process of self-emptying in order to receive in the new "seed" of light that returns at this time of year.

Imbolc
Mid-winter, the time of life's quickening. This time of year, we'll explore the stirrings of life and the idea of hope as the guiding light at this time of year.

Spring Equinox
The return of spring brings promise to all areas of our lives as our inner journey resembles nature's cycle of death and rebirth.

The Forest Witch Modules

Beltaine
A time of fertility where flowers are blossoming and their sweet scent is carried by the wind. Traditionally this cross-quarter day has been celebrated as a time of union - all of nature is striving to reach the sun.

Summer Solstice
When the sun is at its peak and all of nature is in full bloom, this is the time to honor the power of the sun in our own lives. Questions and inner reflections on what is growing in your life are topics for this time of the Nature Year.

Lughnasa
Known as the first harvest when gardens are producing and wheat fields need cutting. What are we harvesting in our lives? What has come full circle and into completion?

Fall Equinox
As nature so beautifully demonstrates in the fall, particularly here in the Northeast, a glorious farewell for the year when a banquet of color adorns the forests.
A time of harvest and completion.

Empower Growth
There are many things in our world that require us to "reverse" our understanding of them. And the term "witch" is certainly one of them. We need to dismantle the stories and wrongful myths that took the archetype of the witch - a woman whose day to day spirituality is found in the forest, with the plants and the animals - and turned her into someone to be feared and rejected.

In The Forest Witch program, we will unravel the wrongful myths, and free the part of ourself that is restricted and bound to the fears of others.

We will explore:
-
Wrongful myths of who a witch is.
-
Healing the "witch" wound.
-
Your feminine power in relation to nature & the land in which you live.
-
Your Sacred Womb and why your connection with your womb is so important.
-
How to trust your power of intuition and seer-ship.
-
The necessity of re-connecting with the Faerie and elemental realms.
-
Ways to bring magic into your daily life. (Even your finances!)
-
The Power of nature-based spirituality, void of religious dogma.
