The Burden Basket
with Sandra Kehoe & Trista Haggerty
August 21-24, 2025
The Burden Basket is a tradition amongst the Native Americans. They were used for gathering food and herbs by day, and by night, left at the doorways for guests entering the home to leave their burdens at the door.

Today, faced with the challenges of a changing world, our burdens and stress can weigh heavy on our hearts. During this retreat, Sandra will guide students through the process of making a rib basket, while Trista, through meditation and sacred journeying, will help students to identify what weighs heavy on their hearts, and to find the treasure within their burden basket.
