Our Forest Family Retreat with your kids will give your family a chance to deepen your connection with nature and one another. Skills, activities, and crafts pertaining to each season foster confidence and resiliency that provide your children with a. solid foundation, and for parents to tap into the power of nature that supports a healthy family.
You'll discover ways to help your children unplug and connect with the natural world, learn valuable skills and experiences that will support your family for years. You'll return home feeling rejuvenated and inspired, with memories you and your family will continue to treasure!
Our Forest Family Retreats are offered seasonally, Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter. Each season, you'll learn a variety of forest skills and activities that pertain to that season. It's a wonderful way for your child to connect to the natural world and experience the change of seasons.
Time spent in nature, away from technology and busy schedules, will give your family a chance to re-connect, re-charge and exhale deeply. When not learning a new skill, you'll have time to hike along our trails, play games, or work on a carving project.

Winter is a magical time when you can see deep into the forest, and a quiet stillness settles in the sleepy valley. Campfires to warm your toes, lots of hot chocolate and herbal teas with festive foods to sustain you throughout the day.

Renewal Transformation Grounding Connection
Family Meals
You'll wake in the morning to the smell of fresh coffee brewing and herbal tea infusions as a healthy breakfast awaits your family. All our meals are prepared in our farmhouse and are healthy and delicious using the freshest ingredients possible. Homemade soups and breads, stews and fresh salads and of course, making smores around the campfire is always a favorite! We are happy to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities, vegetarians and provide a gluten-free menu upon request.
Where will we sleep?
We have charming, hand-built, timber frame cabins with bunk beds, located just at the edge of the woods. We also have large, family tents for the ultimate camping experience. If you prefer a cabin, please request it when you are registering. They are available on a first to sign-up basis. You are required to bring your own bedding(sleeping bag and pillow) which is listed on our equipment list that you'll receive as part of your registration packet.
Eagle House, our newly built classroom and bathhouse has bathrooms(one being handicapped accessible) with two outdoor showers with a spectacular view of the valley.
