In the wilderness, your skills make the difference...

The lessons learned in the wilderness are not just about surviving catastrophic events, but instead, to learn how to have a relationship with nature that provides a sense of security in a rapidly changing world.

During this program, you will learn a variety of foundational skills that will provide you with important tools for safety and well-being.    All skills are taught experientially, hands on, with careful instruction and guidance to support your development, whether you are just starting out or if you have some previous experience.

We'll alternate between intensive, active skill building to more relaxed time making crafts by the fire, to follow a natural rhythm, and you can learn at a pace that best suits your needs.

You'll have the choice to sleep in the shelter you build, or return to your cozy, heated cabin.  It's totally up to you!

Along with wilderness skills, stories and craft, you'll get to meet other like minded people and enjoy hearty homemade meals!

Most people are amazed to find out how GOOD it feels to learn and practice wilderness living skills.   They go in, thinking it will be cold, painful, frustrating and anxious, and find out it's the exact opposite, with a fierce joy at being fully alive and reconnected to a larger, incredibly beautiful natural world.
