Deposits and Tuition: Due to our policy of not overbooking our camps, we require a non-refundable deposit of $400 to accompany each application.

Note: We generally do not give refunds unless we are able to fill your spot from our waiting list. If you need to cancel, please notify us immediately so we can give another person your spot.

You will receive a letter confirming your acceptance into camp.  Please download the registration  packet at the top of this page containing important medical forms. All medical forms must be submitted before the start of the program.   Your Balance of Tuition for camps is due by May 15.  If you need to make other payment arrangements, these must be done in advance!

Due to our small number of participants, we tend to fill up very quickly so be sure to sign up as early as possible.

Financial Aid
We are currently in a great partnership with several individuals as well as foundations that offer help with tuition for our camps and programs.   To be eligible, you must meet some financial criteria as well as have a sincere desire to learn and apply what is learned in your community. We will do as much as we can to help you attend our programs, which provide powerful experiences that build a foundation of leadership, creative problem solving skills and closeness to the earth that lasts a lifetime.

It is best to apply early to take advantage of this assistance.  The Deadline for most scholarship funds is around the 15th of May, each season, as this is when most of the monies are awarded.  So please plan accordingly.

We urge you to be creative in your own fund-raising as we are a very small program under tight budget constraints and not able to offer much in the way of assistance. We strive to keep the cost of our camps as low as possible so that more people can attend without aid, and yet we know that for some of you this may still be too much. If this is the case, please send us a letter with your needs and situation, and we will notify you by May 15th of how much aid we can award. Payment plans are also an option. Also, remember to enclose a deposit with your application to hold your spot.

Equipment, etc.
We provide tents, tools and food for our camps, and your personal gear consists of clothing, sleeping gear and personal hygiene stuff and the like. Other than decent rain gear, a good carving knife, (we carry several types if youneed to purchase one) or a pair of all-terrain sandals or moccasins, you should need no expensive, expedition type gear. Our goal is to live simply while still being comfortable as we learn to meet our needs from nature. You will receive more information upon registration, and you are welcome to call with any questions.

We send out e-newsletters to keep everyone updated with our summer camp news as well as other program information.  Please submit your email address by using the "submit" button in the left column above or email us at:
