| Winter Survival Intensive
A weekend or week-long retreat to our mountain farmhouse gives students an opportunity to encounter the world of winter, where we learn to make the cold wind our brother and build snow shelters, make fires to stay warm, cook our food in a wigwam or tipi and bond at night around the woodstove. Winter first aid, cooking, animal tracking, winter tree identification, beadworking and other crafts are woven throughout the experience. February is the month where we offer these programs for small groups seeking an intense experience, combined with great food and lots of fun too!
