Hawk Circle Earth Skills
Circle of the Seasons Program
Dates: Students may enroll at the beginning of any Semester or Intensive program for a full year at Hawk Circle.

Circle of the Seasons Curriculum
Students in this program receive all curriculum of the Spring and Fall Semesters, Summer Graduate Program and Winter Intensives as well as many extra experiences not offered to the general public. During the formal programs, students study and practice like all other students, but during the time between the programs, there is the opportunity to tan several hides, learn about bow hunting, go ice fishing in the Adirondacks or take numerous field trips to different natural tracking or recreational areas. Students have ample time to practice and greatly advance their skills of bow-making, arrows, stone tools, help with local programs and internships with area museums, make maple syrup, gather edible plants, relax and enjoy the community experience.
The Gift of the Seasons
The gift of the seasons offers many things to those who observe the details and nuances of the changes each week or month presents Healing, relationships, foods, nature and physical energy all follow the rhythms and motion of the earth, affected by cold, heat, new growth or the fading of life. Students may decide to go on a personal quest, or join others in a fishing trip, go exploring or gain experience in many teaching opportunities that can come up on any given week here at Hawk Circle.
Personal Mentoring and Mastery
Perhaps the greatest gift of the Circle of the Seasons is the ability to practice all of the skills learned in the programs, under the loose supervision of the Hawk Circle Staff. While there are no formal classes between Semesters or Intensives, students still get feedback from staff and also help each other to grow through infectious learning community! This allows students to quickly approach mastery in their chosen skills in a positive learning environment. If you are thinking of a longer Hawk Circle visit, this is a great choice and opportunity for both personal and professional mentoring.
