This camp is a combination of two intense studies of vital wilderness skills.   One is the art of Fire, which involves mastering tipi fires, all sorts of different campfires styles, a multitude of tinders and many different methods of firestarting, such as the Fire Thong, Hand Drill, Bow and Drill, Fire Piston, Flint & Steel, Fire Plow, Pump Drill and several other unique methods using modern tools and solar energy.  We will also learn about trees, different woods, soft woods, hard woods, primitive blacksmithing, coal burning, torches, candles, fire games and stalking, scout campfires, becoming a firekeeper for ceremonies and much much more.  We will even get some cooking in too!

School of Rock is also included, where we will be making all sorts of tools, knives, scrapers, drills, axes, bowls, weights, hammers and more out of different kinds of stones. We will discuss basic geology, and where to look for and find good stones to make tools that can help make fire, carve a bow, cut a tree, carve a canoe and skin a deer.   Not only that, we will do some rockboiling, work with earthen pigments and do a lot of other things with stones that are awesome, to help make your camp and your world a beautiful and amazing place!
